About Me

Hi!
I'm an Argentinian travelling around the globe a little for a couple of months. I'm actually taking a gap year (which turned out to be gap year and a half...) after finishing University (studied Chemical Science). I've been in Australia basically for the last year with the working holiday visa. Worked, had fun, made friends, learnt how to surf, got to know a bit of Australia... It was AWE SOME!

Currently I'm travelling for the next couple of months, the idea is a bit of South East Asia and then Africa!! I'm a huge fan of animals so it's gonna be a dream come true.
But the trip is going to end sadly around March next year when I come back to Argentina to start a PhD related to renewable energies (solar energy in particular).

A bit of what I like: big movie fan (my dad is a movie critic), music: rock mainly but I actually like everything, science, playing football (soccer), reading, eating! I'm not into clubbing, more like going to a bar or chill at home and having some wine or beers with friends,

When I travel: Explore, get to know the culture and people of the places I visit, try new food (not spicy though! haha), go for some beers, diving, surfing, reading, relaxing...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just got into couchsurfing. I think it could be an amazing way of getting to know the people and culture of places I visit and of course making friends! And why not get a local view of the place and what to do, know the secret spots!
And when I get back home I'll definitely like to be a host!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like everything, but if I had to choose my favorite genre would be progressive rock! For example, some of my favorite bands: genesis, emerson lake and palmer, jethro tull, beatles, yes... But also like jazz: bill evans and keith jarret... But then again, I also like new music and all genres!
Movies: big, huge, gigantic movie fan! haha My dad is a movie critic so theatres were my second home... It's really hard to say which is my favorite movie, but somewhy when I'm asked that question the first film I get in my mind is "12 angry men" (warning: it is in black and white).
Books: I like reading fiction but also essays and stuff like that... Currently I'm reading "The arabian nights" and "7 habits of highly effective people". Some books I read and highly recommend: "La sombra del viento" from Carlos Ruiz Zafon, "El hombre que amaba a los perros" from Leonardo Padura, "La conquista de la felicidad" from Bertrand Russell and "Steppenwolf" from Hermann Hesse.
