My name is Iva and I was born in the Czech Republic. I moved to Brighton in June 2013 two weeks after I finished college.

I tried lots of different jobs - I've been working as a Support Worker with people with learning difficulties, business assistant in Interior Design company, Catering Assistant in a canteen for bus drivers etc. Now I am finally doing something I love, I work for my best friend managing a clothing brand called MisspentYouth2016 so that's really exciting.

I am addicted to sugar and I love chocolate. I like travelling, eating out, taking pictures, dyeing my hair. I like maps, illustrated books (and illustrated map books), languages, trying new food, skateboarding and (surprise surprise) travelling. I love meeting people from around the world and that is obviously one of the reason why I have been using Couchsurfing for years.

I am not in a situation where I can host people but I am happy to show you around Brighton and Hove. I know where it's all the good food. :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

It's a great way how to meet locals, make friends and feel welcome in a new place. Couchsurfing proves there are amazing people in the world some of them even willing to share their home! I mean that is pretty special and trust me..if you let me stay with you I am not going to take that for granted.
