About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the world, experience new things!
ABOUT ME
I'm approachable and friendly, always up for trying new things and meeting new people. I finished my Law degree in the UK in 2012 and set out on a world trip. I never made it back to the UK and have ended up working as a Technical Product Manager in Berlin while teaching myself to code and (finally) starting to learn German.
PHILOSOPHY
Be nice, do new things and try to learn something along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to this site, but I'm looking to get stuck in and hopefully meet some new people on my travels.
Living in a multi person WG in Berlin at the moment I'm unfortunately not able to host, but would love to in the future when I've got my own place.
Interests
I seem spend a lot of my free time trying to learn new things. This has resulted in me collecting a number of useless (but fun) talents, from juggling to origami to about half a dozen different instruments that I've taught myself to play. My most recent distractions are teaching myself to code and starting to learn German. Other than that, I enjoy the normal stuff like reading, travelling and hanging out with good company.

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS:
I'll read just about anything. I enjoy crime, fantasy, horror, sci fi, fiction and non-fiction, even cook books. Pretty much whatever's in front of me.
FILMS:
Shawshank Redemption, V for Vendetta, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Naked Gun, Forrest Gump, Spirited Away. I feel like I've managed to miss out on the last 5 years on cinema.
MUSIC:
The list is too long to count. Seeing live music has always been one of my favourite things to do and I normally see a band or two live a month.
I also play piano, guitar and trumpet as well as a few other instruments badly, so I like listening to music which I can learn to play, such as more classical composers like Debussy and Chopin and solo guitar songs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My favourite trip so far has to be through Mexico down to Costa Rica over a few months. It involved a lot of food poisoning (on Christmas), Cartel Hit-men, trekking to hidden Mayan micro-states, scuba-diving off remote islands, 5,000 person beach parties, hidden bars in the Jungle, jumping out of a plane, too much tequila, boarding down a Volcano, life long friends and one hell of a poetry slam.
Teach, Learn, Share
Come for a meal with me and I'll teach you how to make a rose out of the napkin!
