ABOUT ME

Stoked to be embarking on a New Zealand adventure. Looking to surf the summer away into the fall to head south and ride the powder of the south islands mountains.

I spent a few years traveling on my own and now have the immense joy of traveling with my man.

After seasonally working in Alaska salmon fishing, Canada mushroom picking, Maui construction work, and bike touring/road tripping the U.S. this summer we are taking our adventures to New Zealand.
Surf boards and camp gear in tow we hope to buy a vanto live/travel in and explore the islands and live it up.
Looking to do the activities we love and discover new things.

I adore traveling; the people, food, culture, language, all of it I find so stimulating and inspirational. I immensely enjoy meeting new people and having experiences that widens one's perspective.

I enjoy a good night out on the town live music and city shenanigans but also love a night in chatting over good food and wine.

PHILOSOPHY

Of course it's always changing.
At the moment, enjoying each new experience and gathering as much as one can from it to learn and go onto the next with a new and broader perspective.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted quite a few times.
I had two sets of guests inadvertently whilst in Montenegro and they were lovely, respectful, and fascinating people.

More or less I am always traveling and have not had many an opportunity to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

short and sweet I have never had a negative experience. Everyone both hosting and hosted has been amazing, eclectic and inspiring.

I am torn between the city life and the outdoor life so I am meshing them both together.
I adore nature, wandering out into the wilderness for camping, hiking, surfing and swimming in the ocean, exploring rivers and lakes in rafts and kayaks, mushroom hunting is one of my new favorite ways to interact with Mother Nature.
Skiing is a top passion for me, as far as I am concerned there is nothing that a pow day can't fix.

On the other hand I enoy cities, the architecture, wandering markets, visiting cafes, going to museums, concerts/shows, and the general vibe and culture they offer.

sewing is a hobby of mine and I am happy to do some mending for hosts, or teach them how to mend themselves.
Learn anything and everything.
