About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet new people in every place I travel, and get to know them.

ABOUT ME

I am an atheist, a feminist & vegan. I study physics and mathematics at McGill university, and I give private lessons to freshmen in physics and maths.

PHILOSOPHY

I go through life trying to avoid and solve problems. I make friends and have deep, interesting conversations with them. I enjoy spending time out in the open, especially at night because then the stars are out and make me feel ridiculously small compared to the whole universe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I participate only by surfing; because I do not have a palce on my own yet. I plan on hosting intermitently, for every period of time when I have a place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed or hosted yet.

Interests

I read a lot, fantasy & sci-fi, or textbooks. I enjoy writing letters and debating about philosophy or the use of science in every day life. I have a brown belt in judo, and I bike a lot, even in the Winter.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Harry Potter (books & films), The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, His Dark Materials (The Golden Compass), all of Isaac Asimov, Dune, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Movies: most of Pixar, & the few last Disney movies.

Music: Fred Pellerin, Coeur de pirate & Grand corps malade especially; country and pop generally.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a program that can detect what mistake a student made based on his answer (if it is the wrong answer), and provide suggestions for what to look for in correcting the problem.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're ever going on a bike trip and there's a chance of rain, wrap your belongings in plastic bags, within your bike bags (or back pack). Otherwise they will get wet.
