Become a real life Leslie Knope. (an always mission)

I'm in my scond year of living in Madrid and third in Spain. I was lucky enough to spend a year in the Canaries as well and am always excited to share info about the islands with anyone who will listen.
ABOUT ME

I was once described as the most "irrational rational" person that someone has ever known and I greatly enjoy that description of myself. I am passionate about Boston sports teams, JFK conspiracy theories, non-cringeworthy ice breakers, finding Costa Rican beer in the good old US of A, and not staying in the same place for too long. I love to meet new people and to show them my favorite places in hope that one day they can return the favor one day. Pura Vida

PHILOSOPHY

Go big or go home. I think it's truly amazing how adaptable we are as a species and how we're able to overcome so many obstacles in our lives. I have some big dreams and am taking my baby steps to get there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Depends on where I am, and I'm never in the same place for too long. Sometimes I'm surfing, hosting, or meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met one of my best friends in Costa Rica on Couchsurfing. I don't know how I would have survived without her! I've surfed and met up with people in Italy. I've also had many a friend use couchsurfing with many positive experiences.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did some "psuedo" hitchhiking in Nicaragua with some awesome guys that I met from Colorado on the coast. We spent the day exchanging stories, running across highways, laughing, translating, swimming, and generally enjoying each others company. I only spent about 12 hours with these guys but it was some of the most fun that I've had in my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English/would love to practice my spanish. I can also make some mean chocolate chip cookies. I'm not really sure what I have to offer but I think that's something we all found out along the way :)
