ABOUT ME

Maybe you should ask them, but they might have noticed that i can be fun, serious, silly, annoying, sometimes when i'm tired i don't make any sense, i'm generally cheerful and sometimes grumpy, although this is generally in a giggly way.

Interests

For a few months when I first moved to Bristol I spent my time singing round fires, building a roundhouse on a community allotment and making friends. If I lived by the sea, I would probably spend most of my time in it. Now I spend a lot of time working on setting up a community owned energy company (www.bristolenergy.coop). Always a lot of reading, both fiction and theory, history, about radical energy movements around the world, theories of leadership, people's history...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching dawn over the caspian sea from the window of an aeroplane, whilst everyone else was asleep. Since I decided not to fly any more due to the impact on the climate, I haven't seen such sights, although I'm now about to fly to Uganda...
I love the muddy banks of the river Avon in Bristol. And ancient oak trees in Ashton Court.
