About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Rediscovering life in London...
ABOUT ME
I have had tons of positive experiences through CS and aim for many more. I am an enthusiastic and sociable person who loves meeting new people and learning about the world. I reckon I am a pretty easy-going and grateful guest and can fit around the lives of those I stay with. Have also enjoyed hosting a couple of times and hope to be able to offer that more in the future.
PHILOSOPHY
You pretty much get out of life what you put in. Cliche-tastic. Mostly true.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Almost all the friends I made across Colombia were care of Couchsurfing and now I am #1 evangelist for this site! My hosts were so generous and warm. I have also enjoyed hosting. I also use CS to meet people in cities I visit - going out, coffee, museums. You can almost guarantee they'll be good folk!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
-Being picked up from Bogota airport by my first ever hosts, and then dropped back again after 4 months in their country
-staying in a fair trade cafe in the jungle in Colombia
- beachy times with host in Cartagena
- spanish lessons in Norwich and the Hague
- warehouse party in Brooklyn
- beach walks in the Hague
Interests
I am enthusiastic about a whole lot on this planet! A random list for you: cinema, meeting new people, travel, learning (and trying to communicate in!) languages, skiing, cooking, social justice, wine (those 2 look a bit funny together), yoga, guitar and singing. Guess you'll find out more when we meet...

Music, Movies, and Books
There is so much great stuff out there. Top ones: The Grapes of Wrath (book, Steinbeck), El labarinto del Pan (film, Del Toro), Bel Canto (book, Patchett), Cool Runnings (film, classic...), The Handmaid's Tale (book, Atwood), Frida (film about Khalo), Il y a longtemps que je t'aime (film). Music wise I am pretty open minded. I am a hopeless fan of female solo artists and also folky stuff. Like to watch jazz and dance my ass off to techno, dub and electro.
