My main passion in life is to create incredible experiences for myself and others. As such, I tend to kick back and enjoy all the amazing opportunities for experiences and learning that life throws my way - whether physical, mental or social.

I prefer to always be buried in half a dozen hobby projects across a pretty wide spectrum. Recent examples include writing and performing nerdy stage comedy, designing and implementing video games, learning hypnosis, tutoring new students, and throwing cheerleaders about.

I particularly appreciate authentic, unique people, who don't feel a need to constantly try and appear "normal". I don't smoke or drink, and while I enjoy spontaneous experiences with the right mix of crazy and awesome, I much prefer close connections with a few exciting individuals, over superficial relations with big crowds.

Fundamentally, I believe that the ultimate purpose of my life is to achieve as much personal joy as possible. An essential part of this is, for me, to live with a clean conscience, to bring value into the lives of others, and to do work that I can be proud of in all areas of life.

I prefer to experience people over locations, so I've frequently invited international online friends to my place. This community seems to be composed of friendly online strangers instead, but I'm sure it'll prove good for some fun experiences.

Whenever I'm not entirely caught up in other projects, I'll be up for hosting you, whether you're from another continent, or living 30 seconds from my apartment, as long as you seem to make fun and interesting company.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm very selective in who I host. I'm looking for exciting people with an appetite and curiosity for life, who can also give me enough notice that there's a chance for me to fit them in among a daily life that's booked with exciting projects.

That said, my experiences have indeed been great, whether hosting surfers and seizing on the opportunity for the tourist experience in my own city, or surfing the occasional fascinating individual myself.

Spontaneously had 8 friends from 6 countries come to stay at my place for a weekend. We'd known each other for years online, but had never met in person beforehand. Wound up being a great success, that we've repeated a number of times, occasionally bringing new friends along or crashing different countries.
