ABOUT ME

I love to ski, longboard, rock climb, and dance salsa. I'll try anything once. Backpacking is how I travel. I prefer buses over planes, spicy food, bohemian hang outs, and photography. I feel strongly about ecological sustainability. Culturally, I'm a latinized Danish-American-Jew, with Greek inlaws. Anthropology is my study of choice, especially of Latin America. I also enjoy playing chess, cooking, and tasting wine.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that we are all on this planet to live to our maximum potential and have fun while doing so. I live my life to gain new experiences, so that I may pass on what I have learned to others. I work to live and keep a positive attitude where ever I am.

Any music from Latin America, dub, bossa nova, tango, gotan project, Ravi Shankar, Stan Getz, Santana, Joe Arroyo. I like non-fiction: history, politics, and socio-cultural anthropology. Any independent and/or foreign films interest me.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I have climbed a volcano in Argentina, fished commercially in Alaska, rustled cattle in Israel, skied, surfed and mountain biked in Chile, and partied in Christiania, Denmark.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I would be more than happy to share my Reiki abilities. I took a Japanese energy healing class in college and enjoy passing on the holistic goodness. I also enjoy teaching Spanish, salsa dancing, a cooking. I worked as a commercial fisherman for a while and love telling crazy Alaska stories. I would like to learn more French and how to clean rock climbing routes.
