Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My goal is to offer anyone brave enough to visit the Arab world the chance to see how awesome the Muslim world really is.
ABOUT ME
I love to meet new people and have a deep respect for all other view points. It may seem odd, but I enjoy meeting people that I disagree with. There is so much that we can learn about others and ourselves when we meet people who question what we think or believe. We learn very little by surrounding ourselves with people who simply agree with us.
PHILOSOPHY
The more we learn the more we realize we don't know anything. I guess that means that we continue to study in the hope that we learn to ask better questions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I feel that CS is more then just finding a place to sleep for the night. It's an opportunity to meet people who live where you are and to see their world through their eyes. Being a regular tourist provides a historical education but being a surfer provides a living education.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted only a few people to date, but everyone has been a delight to have. I am a stranger, myself, living in Morocco so to have the opportunity to share this rich culture that I am continually learning about with others is a pleasure. To date I have not been hosted but I hope to change that in the future.
Interests
Art, History, Cultures, Languages, People, Philosophy. I have found that speaking with people about what they are passionate about will inspire a similar intrigue within myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh, the Places you Will Go! and Where the Wild Things Are have always been, and will always be, the most inspiring books to me. Sometimes the most difficult concepts can be explained with the simplest words.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have touched the sky and seen the curvature of the earth while standing at 14,000 ft above the sea. And I have tasted the salty water of both sides of both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Teach, Learn, Share
The best part about traveling is being able to meet other travelers and exchange stories. Things we have learned- either through experience or from other travelers- and providing one another with perspective. No one sees the same object the same way. Someone older and wiser than I once said, "We see the world as we are, not as it is."
Countries I’ve Visited
Spain, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
Morocco, United States
