About Me

I love traveling, art, literature, music, sailing, the great outdoors. I'm a potter, photographer, printmaker and painter. I live in Minneapolis, MN, USA, which is a vibrantly creative and musical city. I work as a Special Education Assistant with Minneapolis Public Schools, and recently got a side job working for a company that's owned by Delta Airlines.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couch surfing years ago, hoping to travel more, and have not used it. Now that I have flight benefits, I've been traveling a lot more, sometimes alone. I'm hoping to meet interesting people and have places to stay for my travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago, I took a trip around Egypt with a friend who was interning for a study abroad program. We visited Cairo, Dahab, Alexandria, the Siwa Oasis. We took camel rides around the pyramids and sphinx, we toured a bunch of mosques, we climbed what is accepted at Mount Sinai by a lot of Christians, we went on a desert safari, and we snorkeled in the Red Sea, just across from Saudi Arabia.

Teach, Learn, Share

If we got some clay I could teach you some handbuilt ceramics basics. Of course, we'd have to find somewhere to fire the work.

I would love to learn some of the local language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could bring you a handmade piece of art. : )
