About Me
We're on the road in India right now, guys, so unfortunately we won't be able to host anyone.

We met in a yoga class.
It was an ashtanga yoga class - if you're not familiar with this particular method, it involves great concentration, noisy breathing and a lot of sweat. So, our love emerged and blossomed unexpectedly between the Dart-Vader-breaths, while we were losing our concentration, glimpsing at each other time to time, and wiping away the endless drops of sweat. Apart from the yoga, it took us a lunch at a local Iraqi restaurant and a sushi dinner to understand that we share the same amount of craziness and passion for life. On the next day we started living together, wondering how life could be so amazing. A month after we've got our shared dream: to live outside the city, in a sustainable house and to welcome people from all over the world to enjoy simple, more natural way of living. Now, we're on our way to our dream, which became a goal.
So, yeah, we're two happy people, who love to live, hike, cook, dance, dream, garden, recycle... because we do believe reality is the way you create it for yourself. And we decided to create heaven for us inside the city, but soon we hope it will be transferred into the wild.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So, let's go back to heaven. That's why we're on Couchsurfing: we love to share how exciting life could be with other people. We feel charged when others share their ideas with us. Additionally, we like to travel, but pretty often we prefer to host because we both picked up a lot of hospitality from our families. And sometimes we don't feel the need to go somewhere, to consume, to be busy all the time... so, we lay in our hammock and relax. But at the same time we would love to know more about other cultures, so we simply decided: let's invite the world to our cosy home! What we like about this multi-culti experience is that it's broadening one's perspective and provoking one to think out of the box. Sometimes, what we concider "normal" might be an illusion, created by the surrounding environment. The conclusion? Simply, change the environment by bringing cool people from abroad and what you get? New perspective. Creativity. Inspiration. Connection.

Music, Movies, and Books
We both love the movies "Captain Fantastic", "Fight club" and the classical... "Pulp Fiction". Main source of your inspiration to live sustainably is this movie: A Simpler Way: Crisis as Opportunity (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUwLAvfBCzw&t=734s), as well as this one: Real Value (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ez3CWXQrgVo&t=707s).
Our playlist ranges from psy trance, to Bulgarian rap, regge, chill out, mantras... depending on our mood.
We both like very much the book "Shantaram" and Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One day we've planted more trees in a small Bulgarian village than the number of the people, living there!
Teach, Learn, Share
We can share with you our knowledge about permaculture, yoga, Buddhism... how to grow different herbs and vegetables in your home or how to compost your food leftovers. We can cook for you since we both love to do it! Katia can teach you how to make the simplest and the tastiest vegan bonbons. Also, we can tell you how does it feel to quit your secure job and to go for your dreams :)
