ABOUT ME

I'm a good listener and can tell you good stories, too. I prefer to get involved into honest conversations on various topics rather than have a small talk.
I see meeting different people as a way to explore the world and broaden the horizons of my understanding of the world.
I have analytical thinking, but sometimes I tend to think too much =)
I am Russian, and I'm proud to be a part of country with such unique mentality, though I am very open-minded. I won't judge you by your views, appearance, sexual orientation. food preferences or nationality. Actually, I never judge people, I listen, learn from them and compute my opinions.
I prefer to go to nice bar or a good electronic club rather that crowded places with pop music.
Finally, I have a family-run love for the sea. I sail in St. Petersburg, and my dream is to become a great skipper one day!

Both as host and a surfer, and also participating in cs meetings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had my first couchsurfing experience as a surfer in winter 2013 and it was amazing! I sured in Latvia, Belgium, Brussels, Italy, and Portugal

Interests

Im a sea-lover, so if you share this passion well get along. I sail in St. Petersburg in a sport team, but I'm currently exploring traveling opportunities by a sailing boat.
When the navigation is over I turn to my other interests which are movies, reading, traveling (mostly by cs and often by hitchhiking).
I'm interested in meeting extraordinary people, those who inspire me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: thriller, detective and criminal come first (personal favourites are The Silence of the Lambs, the Blair Witch project, The Game, Les rivières pourpres, The Basic Instinct, Tarantino movies), arthouse comes next (Bertolucci's 'Besieged' and 'Last Tango in Paris', Antonioni's 'Blow Up', Kubrick's 'A Clockwork Orange'), and others motly include cult movies and drama(Trainspotting, Donnie Darko, Dead Poets Society, Dogma)

Series: Doctor Who, American Horror Story, Queer as Folk, Twin Peaks, Casanova (BBC)

Books: russian classics(especially Bulgakov), Hesse, Sartre, Camus... + many many more, both modern and classics

Music: both oldschool (the Doors, the Beatles, Joy Division...) and modern (electronic, indie, post-punk, dubstep, uk garage). I think my favorite band is Depeche Mode. I love them for their combination of hotness, darkness and soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking form St. Petersburg to Novosibirsk (about 4000 km)is probably one of the most remarkable.
Hiking in Altai mountains for more than a week was extreme and wonderful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some sailing , Russian language. I'm willing to learn about everything I don't know of.
