I'm a wanderer. A wanderer who just started the actual wandering part. Most recently, I've lived in Monterey, CA, New York, and Orlando.

While in Monterey, I knew I was sick of waiting and took off on an extended road trip across the states and Canada. I've been traveling for just over 2 months and have met some of the most amazing people! Plus, there's this moment at about hour 5 of driving when you examine your life and the world and humanity in a way you have never allowed yourself. Hour 5.5 finds you talking back to the nerdist podcast you're listening to.

Also, my writing tends to start out witty and then get intense. Such is life. I'm sometimes bubbly and sometimes introspective and always on the lookout for good ice cream. Kathleen Hanna and Zooey Deschanel are my birth parents.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've mostly used airbnb, which has been amazing, so I want to continue with meeting people who are like minded in terms of traveling! Plus, when I finally settle somewhere, I want to pass on the travel karma.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like I can't even comprehend the scope of everything I've experienced in the past few months. The scariest thing I've done is climb out onto a rock tower at the grand canyon. Inside I was pretty calm but my legs were involuntarily shaking so I guess even further inside, I was terrified.
