After working for 2 years at a high school in the US, I taught in Thailand in Japan for nearly 4 years. I then transitioned to the humanitarian sector where I met Antigoni. We have been all over Africa/Middle-East and most recently we have lived and worked in Ukraine and Myanmar.

We are currently traveling through China and then across Russia on the Trans-Siberian railway!

I had a great bunch of people come through my tiny room in Tokyo, school in Thailand and met some people in Germany 06(!). I met a great family in Loughborough that took me in for a bit and we're still in touch. I've also gotten to meet some couchsurfers for meals and drinks as I've traveled or they've visited. I like that you can just reach out to people on CS to go to a concert, have a drink, ask for local information or whatever strikes. Great community.
