To get away and learn about myself

ABOUT ME

Even though I'm 29 I feel like I'm just starting to really learn about myself. I have been in my comfort zone for way too long and now I'm willing to get out and learn more about myself and the world. I like to be busy, I've either been in school full time and working full time or have had two jobs for about the past 8 years. I'm finding out I need to take more risks in life.

So far I have not hosted or couch surfed at all, but hopefully that will change soon!

Intereses

I love politics. I definitely have my own beliefs about how the political world should be organized, but I am willing to at least listen to anyone else and I seek to understand their side, as long as they are willing to do the same for me. I hate being attacked for my beliefs. I love to read, particularly historical fiction. I love music. I love finding that perfect song that describes how I feel at this particular moment. I also like expressing myself through writing, I'm not the best at thinking on my feet, but give me a second to collect my thoughts and I think the outcome is worth listening to.

I have so many favorite books it is nearly impossible to even list a few favorites. I love John Grisham, and Phillipa Gregory. I'm currently reading Game of Thrones, yes, the one that the HBO show is derived from.

A practical skill: I can teach you some good Spanish phrases, I can also tell you about politics.
Knowledge: I can show you how I am nice to a fault but I would prefer to be this way and get burned rather than be mean to people.
