ABOUT ME

I laugh a lot, most of the time at myself. Some of the best nights of my life have happened over cheap wine bottles in Southern France in cities that's names are impossible to pronounce or over an entire pot of coffee in Portland in a friend's tiny student pad. I also love shoes, modern art, jazz, old bookshops, early mornings and unique accents people have. And tattoos, hot air balloons and pancakes.

Big crowds terrify me, so it takes some time for me to warm up. But I swear it's worth it, some may even say that I'm fun to hang out with! The world is beautiful yet scary, so it's better to share it with someone. Half the time I share it with my pens and books, but the other half I'd like to share with actual people, not just mechanical answering machines they have at call centers.

A friend of mine recently described me as a free spirit and I'm still trying to figure out whether that's a good thing or not. I've decided it is. When my friends call me or ask how I am, they start asking in which country I'm currently at. That's me, always going and on the road, but my heart is always at the present moment.
