ABOUT ME

My life has drastically changed in the past year. I was a rock climbing dirtbag, now I'm a graduate student and loving it! My current focus is taking advantage of all the expertise around me, and learning as much as I can. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be a student agin.

Interests

I adore science of all sorts. My experience is as a botanist, and now I'm shifting gears to micro and fungal biology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as a backcountry botanist in Alaska via helicopter in 2010 and 2011. That was pretty incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I'm a botanist and an (amateur) mycologist. I want to learn more about small-scale agriculture and animal husbandry. Basically I want to combine my theoretical plant/fungi knowledge into practical, functional knowledge.
