To explore new places and meet new people to explore with. I want to reach all 7 continents and as many countries/cities as possible along the way.

ABOUT ME

I just finished my undergrad at NMU in Marquette, MI and I work as a Web Designer and Developer in Marquette. While I was studying in school I did a lot of volunteer abroad trips and found a passion for traveling. Now that I am finished with school, I looking for new adventures and want to host people who are interested in exploring Marquette.

I do a lot of art work and craft projects in my free time and have a design/lifestyle blog with 4 of my best friends called Seemingly Simple where we post about our projects and inspirations http://seemingly-simple.com/. I really enjoy anything outdoors since most of my work time is spent in front of the computer. I paddleboard as much as I can when Lake Superior isn't frozen over, hike, rock climb, snowboard/wakeboard/will do any board type sport. I am very easy going and open to trying new things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't participated yet, but am currently looking to surf while I travel down the west coast this year. I think staying with hosts from the city is a much more valuable experience when traveling. I want to learn about other lifestyles and make new friends around the world. When I return home I would like to host and show fellow travelers the wonderful city of Marquette!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience through the site yet, but I've stayed with families while traveling abroad and really enjoyed meeting people and learning about new places from the people who live there. Looking to start meeting other people who like to travel and show them my city as well as make connections as I continue traveling.

I was trained as an elephant mahout and worked with elephants in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
