About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live a beautiful story

ABOUT ME

I'm a recovering accountant who is now dedicated to pursuing my real passions in life: indulging myself in the beauty of the outdoors and serving others. To that end, I now live in Montana and occupy my time adventuring in the outdoors and using nature to help me and others grow and change.

PHILOSOPHY

Engage life. Beautiful stories don't just happen, they are written.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the opportunity to host many amazing people from all over the world. I've learned that there's always more to learn and everyone has unique and interesting backgrounds/stories to share.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read and am always up for a good recommendation.
I also like to listen to music and am always up for a good recommendation.
Movies mostly make me fall asleep.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunrise anywhere especially from the top of Mt. Baldy in the Black Hills of South Dakota, or from the top of Mt. Meru in Tanzania as the sun comes over Kilimanjaro. It really reminds you how small you are and what a gift every new day is.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Anything skiing or backpacking related. Also accounting if you're into that. I'm a decent knitter and know lots of random facts about Teddy Roosevelt.

Learn: Everything. More specifically things I wish I were good at, but I'm not such as cooking, gardening/farming, tending animals, sustainable living, bicycle repairing, ghost story-telling, and pushups.

Share: I'm willing to share most anything with a good couchsurfer short of my toothbrush. Couch, ideas, stories, hugs, laughs, etc.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, China, France, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Tanzania, United States
