Raise our newborn son

ABOUT ME

We live in a small house only 10 minutes with the tram from the city centre. It is great being able to live in a house with a garden while at the same time only have a few minutes to reach the city centre.

Erik works as an engineer at Volvo, Helen is a environmental consultant.
We are both social people, lay-back, fun (at least we think so) and openminded.

Since we are parents nowadays the spare time is limited and a lot of time is spent looking after our baby son. Hence, hosting is a great opportunity for us to meet people from all over the world without traveling. Since we have good experience in couchsurfing ourselves we would like to open our house for other surfers and show them Gothenburg and Sweden.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We did some couchsurfing in Australia in December 2012 and we only had good experience doing it!

Interests

We are both into sports, Erik practices floor-ball, squash and running, Helen is into dancing (tango), running and climbing.

During the winter we try to get at least one week of skiing. In the summer Erik enjoys kite surfing, Helen is improving her kite skills as well and is soon ready for the strong winds!

Currently we "enjoy" spending time renovating our house, there is always a project going on. However, we promise we will not force our surfers to work ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Erik is mostly in to rock and punkrock. He likes to visit concerts and festivals. He plays the guitar, writes and records music as well.

Helen has a bit wider range than Erik (simply a bit more open to new experiences), not only does she enjoy rock but she also listens to jazz, soul and indie-pop. However, don´t try to ask her about any particular bands or song titles...
