About Me
I would say my way of life is 'Hakuna matata' (for the few lost souls that never saw The lion king, it means "no worries"), in the deepest way: whatever happens, I think it's useless to stress about it, whether it's an important exam or the death of a friend... some situations are difficult, yes, but hey, things WILL change!! :)
One thing I have to say: I really LOVE debating!! Any kind of topic, since I joined the UTA Debate Society in Tampere I realized how much it opens your mind to different ideas even in your daily life routine! (unfortunately I'm not part of it anymore 'cause my AFS year in Finland is over, but I will join any debate society whenever I'll have the opportunity! :) )
I also love languages, theatre, different cultures, cooking (sometimes), partying, travelling, sharing ideas and really any activity or experience that could make me a more open-minded person. :D
What else? I'm a flexitarian (precisely, a pescetarian), a quite active person, I play the guitar a bit, do some theatre and (in case it wasn't clear enough yet) I really LOVE to talk!! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I'd really enjoy to meet different people from all over the world but don't have that much money to spend in hotels :)
Interests
Philosophy, literature, nutrition, psychology, neuroscience, debating, reading, music and (most of all) TALKING :D
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: mainly rock, but I sometimes listen to reggae, ambient music... I actually can listen to pretty much anything as long as there are real instruments involved ;) - some of my favourite artists being Shinedown, Alter Bridge, London Grammar, Alice in Chains, Iron Maiden and Red Hot Chili Peppers
Movies: Dead Poets Society, Disconnect, Into the Wild, Il pesce innamorato, Princess Mononoke, The Lion King...
Books: 1984 (that book completely changed my life *.*) by George Orwell, The picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, Neverending Story by Michael Ende and Stumbling on Happiness by Dan Gilbert... There would be more, but there's already almost one per each genre I like :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A life-changing year in Finland with AFS where I met a lot of people that radically changed my view of the world and made me want to explore it as much as I can!! Oh, and learning Finnish of course! ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help with learning languages (the ones that I know, of course :) ), share all of my kindness and extroversion as well as all the "knowledge" gained from my experience so far. Plus, I'm a pretty good listener! :)
