About Me
CURRENT MISSION
rescue the princess? who always winds up being in a different castle...or is secretly a ninja...?
ABOUT ME
I recently completed college and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Literature, so now I am postponing my entrance to "the real world" (as though the "real" world only exists in cubicle destined career tracks and that supposedly everything pre-adulthood was somehow less real, a notion that consistently infuriates me) via adventuring and exploration. Before I am forced into a rigid life of routine and responsibility (which hopefully never fully happens) I want to experience as much as I possibly can. As I am growing weary of typing in white rectangles, feel free to ask if there is anything more specific you'd like to know about what makes me tick.
PHILOSOPHY
That Hobbes the tiger was, is, and always will be real. (from the wonderful Calvin and Hobbes comics by Bill Watterson, of course)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Very new, so still trying to figure that out
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
none as of yet through the CS project
Interests
astronomy, literature, food and the cooking of it, also the eating of food, theoretical math and physics because they perplex and confuse me, music in large amounts, writing, reading, well-designed light fixtures, film, nerdy things like comics and video games, words and language, electricity, long lists of loosely-associated items, also tea.

Music, Movies, and Books
that's kind of a big question...
as far as movies go, just about everything between Casablanca to Indiana Jones to Scott Pilgrim vs The World and anything in between. I love film and even if I don't care personally for a movie I still try to find something of value in it.
music is even more complicated, there isn't much music I don't like, but in pretty heavy rotation right now are Tegan and Sara, Sleigh Bells, and Owen Pallett, but my music library is a bizarre smattering of mismatched genres
and I studied literature in college so books are something that I'm passionate enough to go into large amounts of debt to simply study...
