CURRENT MISSION

Well, my current misson is to have an awesome time as an exchange student, to see as much as possible of the UK and to meet loads of interesting and fun people from all over the world.

ABOUT ME

Well, it's not really easy to describe myself. Hmm, where to start...

I absolutely love to travel and to get to know all kinds of different cultures. There are just so many amazing places all over the world that I'd really love to go. Just too bad that there is never enough time (or money) to do everything.
Well, I really enjoyed my stays in the States and France and I wouldn't wanna miss these experiences for anything in the world. I just think that going abroad is one of the best ways to meet people from all kinds of countries and it just gives you a totally new perspective so you can reflect on your own culture from a different point of view.
I absolutely love sports. I did gymnastics for about 11 years and played a little soccer while I was in the States. By now I do quite a bit of running and dancing and my latest passion is figure skating :) I only started it about 2 years ago so most of the spins and jumps I do end up with my laying on the ice but it's really good fun.
Hmm, what else... been doing quite a lot of acting at my local theater before I started uni. I'm not exactly the typical limelight hog but preparing a play with a bunch of people and actually performing it on several nights was just so much fun and it's just great to meet really fun people.

It's not exactly a philosphy but I always try to think positive and be optimistic.

So far I don't have any experice in CouchSurfing, but I'm sure it's awesome and perfect to meet cool people so I guess it's high time I become a member of the CS-community :)

music: it really depends on the mood I'm in. But I guess indie and rock is what I like most. But basically I'm happy with anything, except maybe techno or house
books: my favorite authors are definately John Grisham and Ken Follet! As favorite book I guess I'd have to say Eye of the Needle. But I really love Shakespeare too (I'm an English Lit student :) )
