I’m Ela, 39 years old, a UX Designer currently transitioning into a role as a trainer in Non-Violent Communication and trying to find ways to connect it into the UX industry. It’s a journey of continuous learning—about myself and how to truly empathize with others.

I love blending work, travel, and dance—connecting with diverse people and communities along the way. Dancing is a deep passion of mine: I’m currently into Lindy Hop and West Coast Swing, but I also enjoy ecstatic dance or losing myself to amapiano and electronic beats in clubs.

As someone who cares deeply about the environment, I made the decision two years ago to avoid flying whenever possible. Since then, I’ve embraced the art of slow travel by train and bus. My next adventure? A train trip to Scotland this April, where I’ll attend my godchild’s baptism.

I cherish meaningful connections—whether through conversation or simply a shared moment of eye contact.

I’m naturally curious—I love discovering both nature and urban spaces, always drawn to the little things others might overlook. I also enjoy those unexpected everyday chats with strangers. I like getting creative in the kitchen—improvising with whatever’s in the fridge and turning it into something delicious.
