ABOUT ME
Hello everyone! Welcome to stay with us! We are a life-loving small family living in the suburbs of Kokkola.
I am a textile designer and a part-time graphic designer in a printing house. My husband works in a printing house and as a part-time media education teacher and he is interested in vintage keyboards and 80s music.
PHILOSOPHY
Welcome to come as you are! I am keen to meet all kinds of people who have an interest to other people and a positive attitude towards the adventures of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been active Couchsurfer for many many years during my studying years. Currently more into hosting and meeting people as we have a small child.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted and travelled quite a lot during these 10 years as a Couchsurfer. I think participating CS is a good way to live, and it surely has given a lot to my life.
Interests
Art, design, history, vintage, handicrafts, flea markets, gardening, cooking, music, nature... To mention a few! :)
Lately I have been studying for example letterpress printing and doing silk-screen printing projects.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am keen to meet new people and learn new things from my guests. I love it when friends have taught me something new, so I can always memorize them when I do these things... Like when "Chili King" taught me to cook basmati rice or my italian guests taught me to bake pizza... :)
Well, what comes to art and design and especially textile I am always interested. If you are visiting Kokkola, I can show you some letterpress machinery and vintage printing museum, as my father has collected these things for years.
