I am a slightly crunchy, completely gentle parent of 2. After our daughter graduated and started her adult life my husband and I decided we weren’t done parenting and started all over! So now we have a grandchild and a child who are 7 months apart in age. I love seeing and experiencing the world through my children.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love hosting guests and enjoy meeting people from all over. When we travel we are seeking more authentic experiences than what a hotel traditionally offers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran 2 half marathons while pregnant (one at 7 weeks and one at 7 months). I also completed a half Ironman triathlon in 2012 (not while pregnant ;-)
