My current mission is deepen my love for France.

ABOUT ME

My best friends would say how amazing I am, how giving I am, how strong I am, how much of a friend I am, how beautiful my heart is and how much I am loved by them. They constantly say how proud they are of me that I am going after my dreams--completing graduate school and going on a life-long dream of visiting France. I'm fun. I'm smart. I care. I'm a good egg. Oh and my nickname is "Smooches".

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is the Universe will provide. Really determine what you want and ask. Make the steps necessary to make dreams to come. It all really falls into place when the tickets are purchased. Tickets are the commitment that says to the Universe, "YES, I AM DOING THIS!"

Another major philosophy of mine is that people like what they like because they like it. It's very similar to going to an ice cream shoppe with LOTS of flavors. I adore mint chocolate chip and you might adore toasted coconut. Please don't hate me for like mint chocolate chip and I won't hate you for liking toasted coconut.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been either surfing or hosting for years either my friends or my friends' friends in Reno, Nevada or Oakland, California.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For the summer of 2012, I toured France for two months. It was an EPIC, EPIC journey made possible through the amazing people who hosted me during this trip. I stayed in some wonderful places and was introduced to the French culture I had been dreaming of since I was a little girl.

Interests

I am a Burner, meaning that I attend Burning Man every year. Last year was my 13th year. I spend my time performing fire dancing, burlesque, spoken word and building community. I love to dance and hear great DJs and live music. I enjoy making people laugh!

When exploring a new place, I love to walk. And walk. And stop to explore and then walk some more. I discover so much more on foot than I ever would on any other mode transportation. I can always rely on my feet.

Music, Movies, and Books

My all time favorite movie is The Princess Bride. I also enjoy epic stories such as the Lord of the Rings series and movies that have emotional depth and humor.

I have close to 20,000 songs in my music collection ranging from live DJ sets from Burning Man to Reba McIntire and Madonna. I like setting my iPod to random and discover what I have. My go-to music is Buddha Bar and am eager to re-visit the real Buddha Bar in Paris.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently, I hosted close to 400 people in my home for a memorial gathering. It was a humbling experience and an honor to open my doors for the community.

I enjoy learning from those who genuinely share themselves their passions, their loves and their dreams. I like sharing how I brought and developed my passions, loves and dreams. I like learning about non-chain places to go and experience.
