ABOUT ME

I'm currently working on the conservation of the world's rarest sea lion (the New Zealand sea lion) for my PhD in NZ. I spend most of my free time playing outside (skiing, rockclimbing, hiking, scuba diving, etc), enjoying nature. As everyone else on this website, I love to travel and have traveled/worked/lived on every continent now.

Unfortunately, doing my PhD means I don't get to travel as much as I'd like but I'm excited to explore NZ and Australia while I'm here.

I'm new to the CS Project but am hoping to be able to host couch surfers once I get settled into a new home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only recently found out about this website but have had couch surfers in the past through random encounters. All travelers completely understand how incredibly the kindness of strangers during our journeys can impact our travels and experiences. I've had so many people generously open up their homes to me and I'm looking forward to returning the favor. I recently returned from working on a little island in the subantarctic so am looking for a home and can't quite host couch surfers yet but hope that changes soon!

Interests

Anything outdoors, cooking, reading, exploring, anything that involves going on an adventure, enjoying a glass of wine with good company, dancing, festival-ing, spinning poi...and I'm always up for trying new things.
