PHILOSOPHY

i constantly have to remind myself that i am not invincible. i live my life for the sake of living. who knows what will happen later today or even tomorrow. we are not guaranteed any amount of time on this earth. don't take things for granted, live while you are alive. it is up to you to define your idea of living. everyone is different, never compare yourself to others. there are gray areas in all walks of life. look beyond the black and white standards that most others seem to live up to.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i believe in karma, by being a good host to those who stay with me i hope i will receive it in return when and wherever i decide to travel. i wish i could host everyone but i have 3 other roommates and we all run the house together, everyone must agree if someone or people can stay with us. it's not totally up to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted my first pair of surfers recently and had a blast. Great way to meet people and build connections around the globe. Good hospitality, let's kick it.

兴趣

the great out doors. there is something about going out into the wilderness then coming back into town. It makes you realize that this world we live in is just materialistic none of it matters. give me food and a sleeping bag and i'll be good. it saddens me that i'm more afraid of people then bears and mountain lions.

音乐、电影和书籍

music is great. i constantly have a different tune stuck in my head. i love live music and recorded stuff. i'm into collecting vinyl records. i love jazz, reggae and a lot of folky stuff. believe it or not there IS good hip hop out there, i'm not talking about top 100 radio bullshit i'm talking stuff like a tribe called quest and people under the stairs. A few of my favorite bands to listen to are The Beatles, The Doors, Cat Stevens, Dr. Dog, CoCo Rosie, Fleetwood Mac, Fleet Foxes and tons more.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

-climbed to the top of a volcano and scoped out the "fantastic lava beds" and "painted dunes" below.

-ridge walk at sonora pass

-hiking through the trinity alps with blister covered feet and flip flops....hahah pretty amazing if i do say so myself.

-haven't done this one myself, but i have witnessed childbirth...that was pretty phenomenal.

i want to learn music! anyone who plays any type of instrument, please bring it along and show off your skills!! i have a piano and two acoustic guitars at my place. jam sesh?
