ABOUT ME

I am a girl with a cheerful energy, and always have a smile on my face. I have been described as a spontaneous adventurer who is up for the next challenge... at the same time am still very sweet! :)

I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world. Authentic encounters are what I treasure the most out of each trip I have taken. Hitting all the touristy spots are not on my priority list, but making new friends and taking fun photos of myself at the place I am traveling to is!

I love the great outdoor. I love hiking, camping, running, scuba diving, sailing, and anything that involves moving my body and the nature. I love the sound and smell. I love the feeling of water and breeze brushing through my skin.

PHILOSOPHY

Love more! Love the earth, love the people - everyone! I do follow the normal career path to beef up my credentials; however, I am stubborn enough not to settle down yet... the world is so big and I still want to explore!

Can't we just have the best of everything? :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meeting locals is always the highlight of each trip. During my visit to Cuba, I stayed with a local Cuban family and had a good time chatting with them and their little girl. :) I dislike fancy five star hotels, even if I have the money to afford it. The connections you get from meeting the locals are priceless!

Sailing. I sail internationally once a year.

Generally speaking, I am more of an ocean person than mountain person. I would always want to visit a body of water when traveling. It could be ocean, lake, river...etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have sailed to the World's End in the middle of the night. It was complete darkness - no civilization. Only stars could guide me at that time. It was raining. Wind and waves were strong. I was frightened, but I had to keep on sailing without showing my fear because there were other people on the boat. Then suddenly, a small light showed up at horrizen... and that was the most comforting thing I have ever seen in my life.

The world's end is a small island at St. Vinscent and Grenadines, where the movie "pirates of the carribeans" was filmed.

I also sailed to Antarctica for one month and to Svalbard for two weeks.
