About Me
*** I DON’T LIKE COPY/PASTE AND NON PERSONALIZED MESSAGES AND WILL NOT HOST YOU IF YOU SEND ME ONE.*** I think that if I take the time to host you, you can take the time to read A BIT of my profile (I dont expect you to read everything) and send me a personalized request. That way I also quickly see if you are a real CSer and not someone looking for a free hostel. https://support.couchsurfing.org/hc/en-us/articles/200640010-How-do-I-write-a-good-couch-request-
ABOUT ME
I'm a people person. I'm quite talkative. I enjoy the present moment. I love to experience new activities, foods, etc. and I'm not afraid to try them. I'm opinionated but not close minded. People say I'm cheerful. I like sports and music very much. I’m a feminist. I'm very curious and I like to learn. When I travel: I'm very interested to learn the history of the place, to learn the non touristic aspects! Visit museums, look at the architecture or just chill in a park and hear fun stories from locals. I also like to have a drink and party, even though it is not the main reason why I travel.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a feminist, which means in a nutshell that I think that women and men are not, in fact, treated equally in our society, but face systemic inequality. And, well, I think that it's not fair and we should actively deconstruct and fight this social arrangement. Feminism goes from women sexualized representation, traditional gender roles and expectations, heteronormativity, intersectionality including racism and social exclusion, to the expression of masculinity (to name only a few things). I try, in my own little ways, to initiate change. I did my master thesis on sexual and reproductive health of immigrant Bolivian women living in Argentina. Also, I like to share about my views with interested and curious people. If you don't want to know more, that's fine too!
However, if you think that feminism is crap, we won’t get along. I also have close friends and family from the LGBTQ2I community and try to be an ally. If you have negative opinions about gay, bi, trans, non binary people and other people of this community, we won’t get along either.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I decided to join couchsurfing after hearing good friends that it was just a wonderful community. I really liked the concept too: to have the chance to meet local people is very important and unique when you travel. I also like to show a traveler what my city has to offer and what are the non touristic fun aspects of it.
Interests
There are not many things that do not interest me. I like history and culture, so when I visit a new place it is something I very like to hear about. I also like sports, my favorite one probably being taekwondo. However I haven’t practice it since a couple of years and I’m now an active runner. I really like exchanging music and book suggestions! I am also very impressed by beautiful architecture, even though I don't have knowledge in the field. I'm a chocoholic and a foodlover! I especially like all kind of teas (and mate ehe I lived in Argentina after all). I like to cook and eat! I have been vegetarian for two years now and I also try to cook vegan at home. I like to learn new languages or expressions from a language.

Music, Movies, and Books
I always listen to music and I like various genres. There is always music home and I buy an album every 2-3 months I would say. I like almost all genres and particularly hip hop. I love music suggestions and will actually look into an artist that you mention and really like. Also like reading, right now especially in Spanish.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I contemplated the Iguazu falls and the Machu Picchu!
Teach, Learn, Share
My first language is French and I would be glad to teach you some if you want! Also I lived in the province of Quebec, which has a different culture and history from the rest of Canada. I like to share my viewpoint on the subject and share with people the great culture that Quebec has.
I love to practice my español!! I also like to learn new expressions or words from other languages.
