ABOUT ME
I'm from Germany but have been living in New York for the last 8 years as a musician (flamenco guitar, jazz and lots of other stuff). I try to not participate too much in this insanity of consumerism/capitalism but I also know that this is the world I'm living and working in. One day I want to live in Spain and have my farm.
I'm rather quiet but not shy and i love thought provoking conversations, trusting someone else, sharing your struggles and passions - just feeling alive by connecting to humanity through individuals and reaching a point beyond small talk. For me music, or art in general is another means to connect with humanity and when I perform this is my main goal.
PHILOSOPHY
"Je comprends ici ce qu'on appelle gloire le droit d'aimer sans mesure" - Albert Camus
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed many times in Spain and my wife and me hosted many people from all over the world in our house in Brooklyn. Its truly a beautiful thing. In my social and professional life I'm always surrounded by artists and very like minded people. But I had some really great CS encounters with people from very different traits of life, beautiful people that I probably never would have met if it wasn't for the need of a couch.
Interests
Besides the music: campfires, mediterranean culture, veganism (i'm not religious about it), red wine, Occupy Wall Street, Palestine, goats, atheism, sleeping on the beach, sustainability, politics, nature humans aka fellow bonobos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At the age of 12 I saw Paul McCartney live in concert, I decided I wanted to be a musician and now its the way i earn my living. With 19 years I came to New York for the first time and decided I would live there one day. Its been 8 years now since I moved to Brooklyn. Sometimes I can't believe how things manifest themselfes but I think they really do if something is important enough for you.
