ABOUT ME

Hey! We're Karo & Atte. We've made our current home in Elämän Koti ("the home of life" as we've named it), a lovely wooden house nestled between forest and fields, which we're squatting with permission, near Tammisaari (Ekenäs in Swedish) on the South coast of Finland. Ample space, beauty, and room to breathe! We're interested in sustainable living, downshifting, community, and the beauty and intricacies of being human.

Karo is currently studying art (for one year) and is also an Iyengar yoga teacher trainee, as well as being passionate about environmental education. Atte is a musician... and a little this and that! Jack of all trades, master of none... :)

We're both vegan.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Karo has couchsurfed around the UK and Denmark and she's hosted people when she lived in Edinburgh. Atte has couchsurfed in Finland. We both have positive experiences! :)
