ABOUT ME

I am a fearless explorer. I'm a bit passionate for what I do which is work in the HIV/public health field. I'm a bit of a health nut but love to contradict myself every once in awhile. I've had a traveling bug since I spent a year in Brazil as a foreign exchange student. Since then I've been to over 20 countries and just love sipping espresso in each one of them. My career is pretty internationally focused because of my love for traveling : )

I want to make sure I have many great things to look back upon in my life when I am older. I am learning that it is not so much where you go but the people who accompany you that make great memories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love developing a potential iteniary for someone that's dependent on their interests. Because I don't have a car, I find that I discover unique, cool places that would be hard to see from a car. I love sharing these discoveries : )

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stockholm, Sweden: I booked a hostel but never stayed in it because I met my couch surfer host Ernesto and his lady friend (still keeping in touch with both via Facebook). He took me to a party that included a ping pong table competition located underneath a highway underpass. It was definitely one of the best parties I've been to. A year later I still look at a highway underpass and think of the party. I had such a great time with both of them. Ernesto was a great host, making me breakfast, etc.
