ABOUT ME

I've been 'on the road' for many years now. I love teaching in foreign countries. I have met so many wonderful people, and seen so many great things. It really is a wonderful life.

I'm quite easy going, but will also speak my mind. I like to be goofy sometimes. I can be quite sarcastic (as humour, not to be mean). I'm quiet, clean, and will respect you and your home completely. I am environmentally conscious - I recycle everything possible, use healthier products often, and don't waste water.

I like exploring nature. I like museums from time to time. Foreign films with sub-titles - sure! Anyone seen Zelary?

PHILOSOPHY

Make memories while young, rather than waiting to do it in retirement. Explore the world, get out of your comfort zone and truly experience life. Be kind and helpful to others, and try to go through life in an open-minded and non-judgmental way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in Prague, but am currently travelling, so I cannot host at this time. I am actually living out of a suitcase for a year.

I have met many great people through my couchsurfing adventures... some of whom are amongst my dearest friends now!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First experience was with friends in Seoul.
Met some of my best friends through surfing.
Surfed:
So far, through parts of the Middle East and Europe.

I also do house-sitting. This allows me to stay somewhere for an extended period of time.

Many and varied. Harry Potter, Horem Podem, Hollywood movies, foreign films, romance novels to books like The Da Vinci Code, autobiographies, and business. Nickelback to Buddy Holly to country music and NIN.

Firefly cruise in Malaysia.
Mahout course in Thailand.
Green tea fields in Korea.
Middle East - markets were very cool.
Canoed on a swamp outside of Lafayette. Yes, there were alligators living there!

Teach, Learn, Share

Manila - go EARLY to the airport! They will herd you like cattle outside of the airport - only letting in ticketed passengers.
Czech- be prepared for some rudeness. People yell at you for no reason. And watch for pickpockets. Especially trams 9 and 22/23. Take a trip to the end of the red line, to Haje, and wander through the "blocks of flats". Venture out of Prague to small towns for some great, real CZ adventure! Praha is the most beautiful city I have seen.
