We're a couple who love to travel, see new ways of life and have good conversations. We're interested in different cultures, nature and history. Michael loves to discuss politics, history and religion, Eleanor is mad on gardening, the environment, and sociology. We both love animals and languages, and of course meeting cool people from around the world :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Eclectic. Eleanor likes everything from folk to pop to electro, and is a bit of a die hard Florence and Machine fan. Mike loves everything from 90s rock (Stone Temple Pilots etc) to metal and pop. We also love dancing 'round our living room to daggy retro songs :)

Books: "Guns Germs and Steel" changed Eleanor's life forever. She also loves classics like Middlemarch and Jane Eyre and general fiction/non fiction like Shantaram, the God of Small Things. Michael likes Sci Fi and non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting the Lingyin Temple in China. Trekked up Mount Sinai in the dark so we could watch the sunrise from the top (dodging maniac camels on the way!)

Teach, Learn, Share

Taekwondo and bellydance. Good dessert making skills :)
