About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the world, learn from everywhere and find adventures
ABOUT ME
I'm a fairly laid-back person who enjoys the simple things in life like a good book or movie and a warm sunny day. I love the beach and summer and I also love to travel, I think flying is great fun. My big ambition at the moment is to go on exchange and become fluent in German and then spending the following months backpacking around Europe. I do love Australia though and I think it's one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Stay positive and always keep a sense of adventure. When things get you down just keep on going and they're sure to get better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted a few and have found it to be a great experience each time. Next year I hope to travel Europe for the year and would be so excited if I could do that though couchsurfing. I hope that by staying with the locals and I see the world from their point of view instead of just as a tourist.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
On a group trip to beautiful Wilson's Prom we had two German and two Canadian Couchsurfers hang with us. They made our trip even more unforgettable and were great to have round since they brought lots of fun, laughter and awesome stories with them.
Interests
Currently my favourite interest is dance, especially swing dance! But I also enjoy salsa, tango, ballroom and go-go dance.
I love to socialise with and meet lots of new people. Other interests and hobbies I enjoy are costume making, knitting, surfing (or trying to) and cooking.
I REALLY love rollercoasters!!!

Music, Movies, and Books
Gone with the Wind (book and movie), Blues Brothers, all types of music but especially jazz or swing for dancing. I read all different genres of book and love most different genres of movie though not horror or gory movies so much.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The two group trips I organised to Wilson's Promontory would have to be two of the most amazing weeks I've had. Nothing beats good friends, beautiful scenery and great fun all combined!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have smatterings of knowledge over a fairly wide range of skills, I can teach you to knit or to sew or even to cook if you like. I can teach you to go-go dance to fad dances like 'thriller', 'beat it' and the ever favourite 'shake your tail feather' from the Blues Brothers movie. I would love to learn new recipes from different regions and some history about the place I'm staying.
I would really love to learn more languages. In particular German but I'd love to brush up on my french and learn any other language that comes my way.
