COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

hooked up an awesome flat for 6 months in edinburgh with some beautiful people through couchsurfing. our flat has hosted many fun travelers and my own travels wouldn't have been the same without my amazing hosts.

music - a BIG passion, i play guitar and love most kinds of music. favourite artists are many but naming a bunch: mogwai, tom waits, elbow, wolf parade, tv on the radio, fleet foxes, the beatles, laura marling, beirut, phoenix, st vincent, conor oberst, ryan adams, the strokes, nine inch nails, radiohead, interpol, japandroids, foals, at the drive-in, belle & sebastian, sigur ros, my bloody valentine, the middle east, jack white, arctic monkeys, midnight oil, all the old blues artists - charley patton, son house, blind willie mctell, tommy johnson.. and far too many others!movies - really, just about anything. but specifically: tarantino, rodriguez, coen brothers, van sant, hitchcock. books - love non-fiction, real life stories, philosophy, psychology.

single moments or month long festivals, breathtaking landscapes or wine with friends. perhaps: iceland in general; the californian coastline at dusk; edinburgh during august; playing the ukukele atop a highland mountain watching the weather roll in (and thankfully mostly by..)

we will jam with guitars/ukuleles - i can assist you in making the perfect coffee - we will share travel stories over wine/beer/gin & tonics/cocktails etc - i will improve your tennis or get you started - i meditate and can help you begin

you can help me with languages other than english - play me your favourite artists - show me your favourite literature - teach me to make a new dish.
