ABOUT ME

I'm Elco, traveler from the Netherlands. I originally come from the southern part, called Zealand. Since 4 years I live nearby Zwolle for I'm working as a PE teacher 15 minutes away. I'm a very easy going guy with positive & happy attitude. I'm fit and always up for a good time. I'm very adaptable to any environment and culture and enjoy new and different people.

I heard about this social networking website in Australia and used it couple of times there. From then on I used it in Hong Kong, Israel and Jordan.

Interests

Being a P.E. teacher I'm naturally keen in every type of sports. My favourite sports are football (soccer)and volleybal. I love to travel and the new people and culture it brings with it.
Further: Photography, music, wintersports, mtb, landscapes and nature, good food and drinks, living back to basic, a cool cafe/bar, a quality movie, philosophy, a good laugh & meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting Australia is certainly one of the experiences that had a big impact on me and maybe even changed me. The people I met, the things I’ve done, the traveling itself, the stunning nature and dramatic landscapes, improving my English as second language, and even the work I did. It is a unique experience and turned out to be a perfect decision after I finished my study. I love the adventure and the unexpected of traveling!
My two weeks during hike throughout Norway is really worth mentioning. It’s beautiful to wander through an enormous, vast area, just take with you what you need, set up your tent next to a gorgeous lake, be away from the busy world for a while and enjoy a campfire at the end of a long and exhausting day. It’s back to basics and I love it!
