About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life.

ABOUT ME

I moved to Los Angeles nine years ago after living in the Bay Area for six years (San Diego and Boston before that). I have degrees in Genetics and Philosophy, and yet I now I do something completely different (that thankfully I love).

I have a passion for learning, music, film, food, travel, and friendly company.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in personal fulfillment through experience. There is so much of the world out there waiting to be discovered by each individual, and I want to take part in as much as I can. I also believe in generosity and compassion on a global scale.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch which is available for hosting (about 15 people have stayed with me so far), I've surfed on a few couches, and I've attended many local CS events (pot-lucks, bar brawls, biking meet-ups, etc).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Each CS experience has been a wonderful and unique one. I'm eager to meet more people both as a host and surfer through this inspiring community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing I'm most proud of was jumping on a plane to New York (I was living in San Francisco at the time) with roughly 4 hours notice. I was offered a last-minute badge to visit for the week-long CMJ Music Marathon and decided to spontaneously make the trip without knowing where I'd stay or what to expect on the other side of the country. It ended up being one of my favorite trips.

Countries I’ve Visited
