My name is Elder and I live in Ottawa, Canada. I grew up in Corsica Island, France for the most part of my youth. I come from a Portuguese family, so I kinda grew up with different histories and cultures.

I am currently studying in International Business and doing an university exchange at AUT in Auckland, New Zealand.

I love traveling, nature, animals, meeting new people and learn more about cultures and food. Also, I enjoy musics, mostly individual sports like kayaking, canoeing, rollerblading, skating, skiing, hiking, biking and so many more. I am pretty active and sociable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

2019 is a big year off for myself as I took 8 months to do an university exchange, traveling and doing a volunteer abroad.

After meeting a few people in hostels, a lot of them recommended and shared their experiences in Couch surfing. Then, here I am to try it out. :)

Recently, I have been a volunteer through AIESEC as an English and Cultural Teacher in a primary school in Taiwan for 6 weeks.
