About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new and exciting people

ABOUT ME

**To explain my poor response rating, I had a roommate move in and thought I had disabled my account, so I did not respond to anything or even know I was getting requests. As of 7-20-10, I am now active and responding**

I am usually pretty laid back and not into crazy partying. Though, my college roommates are usually up for a crazy night, if it is a weekend.

I have been in Flagstaff around two years. I was born and raised in Arizona so I can help plan if you want to go other places. I also travel a fair amount around the United States so if you have any questions about the following, I can also help you there: Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego, Chicago, New York, New Orleans.

I am an extremely open person and welcome surfers from all sorts of backgrounds.

I am an extremely beginning French speaker. All of the French that I know was picked up on my trips to France and from friends that speak French. It is enough to get around in Paris, but probably not very good for meaningful conversations yet.

My Spanish is beginning, and I can hold simple conversations in most cases.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have only hosted people and have really enjoyed the experiences thus far. Living in a smaller town, I feel fortunate to live in a city that is the gateway to the Grand Canyon to allow me the opportunity to meet new people from around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

What I love is sharing experiences, cultural differences/similarities. Living in a tourist location, I usually try to do something new with each of the people I host. It has also been nice to see how some of my favorite places to eat make it into international guidebooks!

Interests

Traveling! I have been all over the US and many exciting places in Europe. There are so many places I want to visit, but with limited finances and vacation time from work.

I also enjoy hiking, reading, going to the movies, watching TV. I LOVE to cook and would like to share more culinary experiences with folks that I host.
