About Me
Hey! I'm Eldos 👋
I lead an IT startup by day, but what truly lights me up is the art of connection: bringing people together, crafting strategies, and watching ideas transform into reality.
There's a pattern I've noticed. The best strategies, whether in business or life, mirror what nature has already figured out. Mountains have become my teacher; they've shown me that growth happens slowly, authentically, and with patience. That's probably why I'm drawn to both: building something meaningful and finding stillness in the wilderness.
I value kindness and honesty because they're rare currencies in a fast paced world. I'm endlessly curious, always exploring new perspectives, understanding what makes people tick, and learning about myself in the process.
If you're up for genuine conversations, spontaneous adventures, or simply sharing what makes your city special over good food, let's connect. The best travel stories aren't planned. They happen when real people meet with open minds ✨
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm not interested in being a tourist who checks off landmarks. I'm a traveler who explores through people, because people ARE the culture. Every city has two souls: the polished tourist façade and the vibrant local heartbeat that only insiders know.
That's what Couchsurfing gives me. The neighborhood café where locals actually gather. The hidden viewpoint tourists never find. Homemade limoncello shared on a balcony at sunset. These are the moments that turn strangers into friends and ordinary trips into stories I'll tell for years.
I've experienced this magic both as a guest and as a host, and every time, it reminds me why authentic connection beats any five-star hotel 🌍✨

Music, Movies, and Books
🎶 My playlist is as diverse as my travel stories! You might catch me listening to folk music one moment and switching to rock the next. Opera? Why not! It all depends on the mood and moment. Attended Adele’s and Ed Sheeran’s concerts last year.
🎞️ I'm a huge fan of thought-provoking series like Black Mirror. Anything that makes you question and think deeper about life.
📚 As for books, I love diving into classics like Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment, but you'll also find me buried in books about personal growth and business innovation. I believe every book has something to teach us!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During high school, I spent every Saturday volunteering at a senior living center. These weekly visits became more than just volunteer work. They were life lessons wrapped in stories. The residents shared their memories, dreams, and sometimes regrets.
These conversations shaped my philosophy: live each day purposefully, collect experiences rather than regrets, and always make time for meaningful connections ✨Their stories taught me that life is too precious to postpone happiness and that the best adventures often start with simply saying "hello" to a stranger.
Teach, Learn, Share
🤓Fun fact: my name 'Eldos' carries a beautiful meaning in Kyrgyz - 'El' means 'people' and 'Dos' means 'friend.' I guess I was destined to be a people's friend!
I love sharing stories about Kyrgyz traditions, especially our nomadic heritage and the wisdom passed down through generations👣
I can teach you how to make our traditional bread (boorsok), share some fascinating Central Asian history, or even teach you some basic Kyrgyz phrases. In return, I'm always eager to learn about different cultures, traditions, and ways of life 🗺️
What I Can Share with Hosts
I bring a piece of Central Asia with me wherever I go ❤️🔥
Stories about nomadic traditions, insights from building startups and community projects, and a genuine curiosity about your world. What drives you? What makes your city special beyond the guidebooks?
I love deep conversations, I'm great at brainstorming if you're working on any projects, and I'm always up for outdoor adventures. Most importantly, good energy, respect for your space, and genuine appreciation for the experience 😉
