About Me

My partner Daniel and I have recently graduated from University and we are now wishing to travel and see some of the world. We have both grown up in New Zealand.

I am trained as an English and History high school teacher. Daniel has recently graduated from his Psychology degree, and wishes to pursue further study in Clinical Psychology.

We are very friendly, open-minded, and adventurous people from little New Zealand, and we are looking forward to meeting new people from different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are interested in getting to know new people, and learning from them. I have done the hostel based travel, and it is a wonderful experience, however we wish to meet the locals. We want to learn!

We are also on a tight budget on this trip. We do not want to spend too much of our money on accomodation, however we do not expect completely free accomodation either. We would be very willing to help out around the house, property, or any other way, in exchange for accomodation. I am a very good cook and tutor, and we are both very capable of helping with outdoor work.

Interests

I am an avid reader, cook, and potter. I also enjoy travelling, hiking, and learning about the local history.

Daniel is a talented sportsman. He enjoys all kinds of sports, as well as reading, playing video games, and meeting new people.

We are both very interested in going for beautiful hikes and walks in your area!
