I'm 19 and am currently living in a rural area of Togo, West Africa for six months before starting uni. I am a volunteer for a local environmental charity. I love to be surprised by unexpected events (like the weekly weddings/funerals/traditional festivals here!) and once I'm back in the UK meeting up with travellers with a good story to tell.

Interests

Sketching, architecture, dog walks in the countryside, languages (I'm going to study Arabic, French and Economics at university and I've had a good go at Ewe - the local language in southern Togo). Other cultures fascinate me and although I love a bit of sightseeing, it is the conversations you have while travelling which are incredible.
