About Me

Hi, I’m Ellie! Ive travelled around Europe on family holidays, camping, skiing and hiking. I have just graduated from Hull University after studying Biomedical Science, so I am now looking to explore the world further afield and would love to meet new people to share my next adventures with!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My main reason for being on couchsurf is to gain local knowledge of the area, not to just be a typical tourist! Id like to immerse myself into the culture of each country I stay in, try your favourite local beer, share stories and build a friendship with whatever amount of time we have! I will treat you and your home with the utmost respect, with the hope to leave with unforgettable memories!!

Interests

I am a very inquisitive person, so there is very little that I am not interested in! When I have a day off work, you are most likely to find me taking a walk down the canal, picking blackberries, hula-hooping in the park, training my baby pet rats or being creative with my house mates.

Music, Movies, and Books

My house mates and I often have film nights and watch series together, so its hard to pick favourites!! I particularly look forward to watching Vikings, Game of Thrones and Arrow. My music playlists generally consist of Reggae, funk, deep house, drum and bass and dance hall.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whilst in Morocco I scaled Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in the Atlas mountains. It was an amazing yet challenging experience to share with my group, which gave me incredible memories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very easy to get along with and have a lot of enthusiasm - I can have a conversation for hours! I am very creative and love cooking, baking and making my own hair braids. For your hospitality I would love to cook some of my favourite dishes for you and share my recipes!
