Overview
About Me
Canadian girl from Toronto, traveling and collecting memories/people along the way. I am a translator and work to finance my travels and experience as much as I can in our short time on this planet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hosted lots of folks in my house in Chiloe, Chile and met so many incredible people through couchsurfing while I was traveling through South America in 2017. Couch surfing was such an integral part of my trip and I've been very involved in the community since then whenever I can. I wouldn't trade the weird and wonderful experiences I had for anything.
Interests
I'm fluent in French, Spanish, and English and love nothing more than having a good conversation with an absolute stranger. I used to have a small bakery business, so I love baking bread for my friends and cooking up a storm of new and weird recipes! I am also a stand up comedian and storyteller on the side, and will likely ask you to tell me a good story within the first few hours of meeting you ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Lolita, Lullabies for Little Criminals, Shantaram, Eva Luna, All the Light we Cannot See, the Girl with All the Gifts, the Great Gatsby
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stand up comedy. Some shows were amazing, some were... not so amazing. Guess which shows were my favourite?
I also spent 4 months in Namibia working for the Ministry of Justice, and one month running my own small bakery during the pandemic. I'm a woman of contrasts, always on the lookout for inspiration and beauty where I can find it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to bake bread and to speak English, French or Spanish. Teach me something new in exchange, or beat me in the sport of your choice!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really believe that you get what you give to people, and I try to be as generous with others as I can. I have had a bunch of people stay with me in Chiloe and have always had great experiences with new people, so I suppose what I can offer is an open mind, a genuine interest in people and a total willing-ness to make breakfast or be the designated dishwasher.
