Overview
About Me
I live near the River Thames, between Tower Bridge and Greenwich with my husband and primary school age daughter. We are well travelled and love our neighbourhood. I organise a series of world music concerts called Tuned In London.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am well practiced at managing to do things despite a tight budget. I know that this can be a great way to find accommodation and get to things without them needing to cost the earth. My activity organising concerts is a great labour of love: I love bringing the world to me and my community but it is not a great money spinner!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading in French and Spanish as well as English. I find it impossible to say which is my favourite music but at the moment we have Cameroonian Blick Bassy on loop. Ask me about a chart-topper and I probably don't know who or what you're talking about. I used to know quite a bit about films, and worked in a film festival, but not these days!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have lain in the glass bottomed nose of a military plane and flown over the desert regions of southern Algeria to the small town of Djanet.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am passionate about cycling and can teach you the safe routes around and about!
What I Can Share with Hosts
We have a sofabed in the living room/kitchen with a particularly good view. We two bathrooms, one of which you would be sharing with our daughter. We are sometimes on the slightly untidy side but hopefully the warmth of the welcome will mean that doesn't matter too much!
